Sensex up 44pts; Infosys firm

The Sensex has touched a high of 11,767, and is now at 11,727, up 44 points. Tata Steel has slipped 3% to Rs 264.  ACC has dropped over 2.5% to Rs 577.  Tata Motors and Larsen & Toubro are down over 2% each to Rs 251 and Rs 941, respectively. Infosys continues to lead the recovery with a gain of 3% at Rs 1,560. Wipro has advanced over 2.5% to Rs 358, and ITC has gained 2% at Rs 191. The market breadth is negative- out of 2,010 shares traded, 1,092 declined and 836 have advanced.
