Tamil Movie News: Tamil film producer makes it to Cannes

The short film Ecluse, directed by Mahendran Baskar, made it to the Cannes Film Festival - 2009 (CFF). Apart from acting in the film, he has also penned the screen play and composed music. Cinematography and editing was done by Jeyakeethan Nagaiyah. Incidentally, Ecluse is produced by well-known Kollywood producer PL Thenappan. Ecluse is all about a kid who is neglected by the parents in their quest to make it big in their respective careers. The heart wrenching climax describes whether the child will be sent to child care service.
